Before we continue on this adventure together, it is important that you are familiar with our terms and conditions. These policies are designed to assure transparency, safeguard your interests, and uphold the high standards we have set for our watch repair services. 1. Shipping:

  • The customer is responsible for securely packaging and shipping the watch to our repair shop. We recommend using a reliable shipping service with tracking and insurance for the full value of the watch. Click here to know more.

  • Our shop is not liable for any damage or loss that may occur during the shipping process. Customers are encouraged to document the condition of the watch before shipping for their records.

  • The client is responsible for providing both the outward and return shipping labels.

  • The cost of shipping is not included in our service pricing.

  • If the watch were to be lost after completion and during shipping, the payment for the service is non-refundable.

    Please note: All import taxes and duties are the responsibility of the client, not WATCH REPAIR MAASTRICHT. Ensure compliance with local customs regulations.

    2. Turnaround time:

  • The estimated turnaround time for repairs will be communicated upon initial assessment of the watch.

  • While we make every effort to complete repairs promptly, unforeseen complications or the need for additional parts may extend the turnaround time.

  • Customers will be promptly notified of any delays and provided with regular updates on the status of their repair.

    3. Communication and updates:

  • Regular updates on the repair progress will be provided via the customer's preferred communication method, be it email, phone, or other specified means.

  • Customers are welcome to reach out with any questions or concerns during the repair process, and our customer service team will respond promptly.

    4.Pricing:

  • Repair prices are determined based on the assessment of the watch and may vary depending on the extent of the repair needed.

  • Customers will be provided with a detailed estimate before any repair work commences.

  • All prices are listed in Euros “€” and do not include VAT or shipping costs. Prices for private clients include VAT, but shipping is not included.

  • Additional charges may apply for unforeseen complications or the need for additional parts, and customers will be informed of these charges before proceeding.

    5. Quotation:

  • A quotation issued by Watch Repair Maastricht is non-binding and is valid for 10 days from the date of the offer.

  • Watch Repair Maastricht reserves the right to charge fees for assessing the work to be carried out and preparing a quotation, if agreed upon in advance with the client."

    6. Payment:

  • Full payment is required before the repaired watch is shipped back to the customer.

  • Accepted forms of payment, including credit cards or other specified methods, will be communicated during the repair process.

  • Invoices will include a detailed breakdown of the repair costs for transparency.

  • If the watch were to be lost or damaged after completion and during shipping, the payment for the service is non-refundable.

    7. Warranty:

  • Our repairs come with a limited warranty on the specific components repaired or replaced, excluding laser work, lapping, polishing, and bracelet repairs.

  • The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, water damage, or damage caused by accidents or mishandling.

  • Customers are encouraged to review and understand the specific terms of the warranty provided with their repair.

  • If the watch is opened by third parties within the warranty period, the warranty will be void.

  • Before seeking assistance from third parties, we encourage customers to reach out to WATCH REPAIR MAASTRICHT with any concerns or issues related to the completed watch repair, ensuring the continued integrity of the service provided.

  • Our shop is not responsible for any damages or issues arising from third-party interventions.

  • Warranty coverage excludes laser work, lapping, polishing, and bracelet repair.

  • Watches received by us without original glass or other integral waterproofing components will not be waterproofed unless these parts are replaced with originals, and the associated costs will be passed on to the customer.

    8. Limitation of liability:

  • Our shop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the repair process.

  • The total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the cost of the repair.

  • In no event shall our shop be responsible for damages exceeding the actual repair cost, and we advise customers to ensure proper insurance coverage for their watches.

  • The client must insure the timepieces and keep them insured against loss or damage caused by fire, theft, burglary, violence, robbery, or other calamities that may lead to loss or damage for the duration that Watch Repair Maastricht has the timepiece or timepieces covered by the agreement in its possession.

    9. Outsourcing work to third parties:

  • Watch Repair Maastricht reserves the right to have the assignment, or part thereof, carried out by a third party if necessary. Any costs associated with outsourcing will be the responsibility of the client.

  • Watch Repair Maastricht is not liable for any theft, loss, or damage that may occur while the work is being carried out by third parties. The client assumes all risk for such issues.

    10. Privacy:

  • Customer information, including personal details and watch specifications, will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.

  • Our shop adheres to strict privacy policies, and customer information will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

  • Data security measures are in place to protect customer information throughout the repair process.

  • By engaging WATCH REPAIR MAASTRICHT's services, customers acknowledge the possibility of their repaired watches being used for advertising purposes on our social media platforms. This may include showcasing the craftsmanship and successful completion of repairs. Click here to know more.


    These terms and conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes arising from or related to these terms will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
